Another wonderful day at CUA

Father Jaki came to visit the library today; and I got to show Ann-Therese around campus!

A look back at CIEL 2006

Since the website seems to have (I hope only temporarily...) disappeared, here are a few glimpses of last year's colloquium at Merton. Almost a year later, it remains a cherished memory.

A toasty day in D.C.

Sister and I went to see seminarian Kevin at his summer assignment. The parish was so poor it was never "wreckovated" and so has this lovely high altar still intact. Sorry about the dark photos -- it was so hot here yesterday that turning on the lights was the last thing I could think of. Though we did try out another Lebanese restaurant for lunch! Kevin will be ordained a Deacon soon.

ROME REPORTS AVAILABLE!

The July 11th Rome Reports...uh...report is available at last! The first part includes footage shot at San Gregorio earlier in the year (when it was thought that the Motu proprio would be released). There is a brief interview with Father Kramer. It shows yours truly lurking in the back pew at Mass, and my beloved son in Chirst, Eric, receiving Holy Communion at the altar rail. Many other familiar faces of the ancient rite can be seen, too.

FSSPHQ, Elmhurst, PA

A short but delightful visit to the FSSP. The Mass alone was completely worth the 6-plus hours of driving! It was a joy to meet everyone; and Fraternity Publications (picture below) is a treasure as are the ladies who run it.
