Normal life resuming at San Gregorio

Back at San Gregorio, the normal academic year schedule has returned. There are some nice new additions to the community: several young ladies from the U.S., more seminarians from around the world, plus baby Enrico, born to a local couple (a baby in Italy is one of the rarest sights!).

New Deacons, October 4, 2007

Twenty-one new deacons of the North American College, ordained at St. Peter's. The reversible dalmatics were a gift of Pius XII. Congratulations go especially to Deacon Kevin of Washington, D.C., and Deacon Robert of Peoria, IL.

Marinis

As Fr. Z. reports:

http://wdtprs.com/blog/2007/10/marini-vixit-vivat-marini-its-done/

Which leaves us with a new Marini (Monsignor Guido, of Genova no less), in addition to the other nice Marini at Ecclesia Dei (Monsignor Mario).

As for the consistory on November 24th.......is it official yet? CardinalFest 2006 was so much fun that it will take work to top! And maybe not this round, but I'd keep an eye on Mons. Dominique Mamberti. O:)

NAC diaconate ordination day after tomorrow. Can hardly wait!
